Yeah,
There are some college galatas for which I enjoyed each and everyday of my college life.
During the 1st year:
The biggest comedy was: I was the class representative for that class. There will be no voting for the class representative, whoever wished to be the class representative can take up the charge. Since no one wished to be rep I volunteered for that. Ahh well I thought there will be no such work for me, so I can concentrate more on my studies and thought of doing assignments and all, but it was vice versa. I have to go for everything even a small things. That has become funny things for me and never stay at class whenever whoever takes class.(great way of escaping from classes). Being a first day to college the person who cuts the class for silly reasons is no doubt thats me!!! The teachers who took classes for us is Financial accouting took by Banumathi, who likes me a lot, but she discontinued due to some reasons. As usual in the first year there will be a language subject compulsorily. That is English and Sanskrit. Hmmm English doesn't matter at all. But still there is a teacher for this language. Who will expect me to be in class, but this never happens till 1st semester. The thing which I don't like in him - he keeps on commenting on others and especially a back comment. I never bother whether it is a positive comment or a negative comment. Yes he keep commenting me on the positives instead I request the people to send some crictisms about me.. none gives a negative comment about me(thats a sad part). The comment which this english sir gave was : I am sincere at work, etc etc.. unforgettable one! That was the first testimonial from him. Hmmm Sanskrit, to talk about this language, there is no teacher for this subject. We have to read of ourselves. There is no one to correct this paper during our college exam. What I usually do during exams is just sleeping only filling up the first page of the paper and giving it to the examer and we will continue our sleep. It just take only 5 minutest to fill up the first page and the balance 2 hours and 55 minutes is to sleep. That is the only exam which I enjoyed a lot. After the comes the Statistics. This subject drive me into nuts... Yes while working out the stats in reality will be great pleasure but in case of case study and theory I have stand a miles away from this subject. Hmmm... I used to fail in this subject during the college exams.. mainly because I don't find time to study and keep on roaming here and there for work. How do I espace from these failed subject? Being a class representative every power is in my hand... so never bother will change my marks from fail to Pass... but now these memories makes me a little smile. Next comes the Economics.. though I love this subject a lot since it is a theory it won't boost that much marks.. Most of the times I will be an out standing student in Economics class.. One day the day came for which I sored 80 in Economics in University exam for which I was the Class 2nd to get that mark and Economics ma'am really really liked me a lot from that day onwards. On the day onwards I was damn famous in my college. Each and everyone knows me well from Princi to Junior, Senior, HODs etc. WOW that day was an amazing day for me... which I will never forgot... And apart from that the second half of the year went well, for which I resigned the Class representative job and started concentrating more on my studies and started watching many serials at home between the time morning 8.30am to 1.00pm. Usually my college starts at 1.30pm to 5.30pm. I will be the last person to enter and I am the first person to leave out in the evening. This will be my routine job till first year.
Entering into the second year of College.
Second year of college life.. need to ask 'eh? Hmmm really a great a experience in entering into the 2nd year of my college life, where a big post was awaiting for me.. Its nothing but the Joint Treasurer in Leo Club of KRS(K.R. Sundarajan (Father of Principal Lakshmi of Meenakshi College)). As like the last year I started roaming and I never stayed at class and home too. But funniest part starts from the 2nd year only. Ahh God! there is no language during the 2nd year of my college life.. if there is a Sanskrit language as usual sleeping and most fun is being missed. Anyways there is a famous line says "if the one door closes, the another door opens". Yeah thats true in my case.. since the first year ends and the more fun started in the 2nd year. For Corporate Accounts Sheena ma'am will be taken care. The best joke made by her was she asked me to calculate 100+10 on a calculator. Everyone at class bursted out in laughter. She is sometimes like that I think.. she checks the homework at our Accounts notebook(what the f**k is this?) but still she supports the students and not the Princi.. That is the only character I like in her. Moreover she is innocent and short-tempered. Anyway she is very good ma'am and miss her a lot atleast for making fun of her. She left the college once our batch left the college during 2007. Next comes the Kirthika ma'am... like is a mother who law for us. Yes, she makes us sleep for the whole one hour by taking Indian law, Industrial law, commercial law and company law. Next comes our head HOD(Head of the Department). She is very strict, keep on yelling at people. But me is special for her. She keep on questioning me.. Her name is Lalitha. Her famous words is "Achacho and Jaldi jaldi". She repeats this a lot.. I think this is her favourite words(Pun intended)
. But whatever the work that need to be finished, she keeps calling me or Arthi or Sharmi. Thats good that she only needs 3 people to finish off the work. Another one is Business Communication. For this subject Sujaritha took in-charge. The way of teaching style is entirely different for her. She just simply read whatever is there in the book and never missed 'is' and 'was'. WOW! what a ma'am. And finally comes the Business Mathematics. I usually don't like maths that much. In other words I hate maths can be said. But I gained the interest in maths because of Seethalakshmi ma'am.. the way she teaches is entirely different and made me to work the whole maths syllabus for 3 times.. anyways I din't get centum in maths too just got 92 and immediately lost my interest in that too. Some one named Meenakshi took maths for the 4th semester.. but din't show that much interest for me. Anyhow I got up to 90 in maths in that semester(Not a big difference though). One more thing which made me fun during the college days during the examination time is copying. One thing which I don't like during examination is the theory part. I don't and won't write that much and very poor in theories. One day decided, what made me to write a lot. Usually in theory subjects I never concentrate that much, I will read just the headline and will blabber something inside the heading. In my college correction, the teachers will correctly strictly.. say like they will check whether the information is conveyed or not. When I prepared for the college main exams I prepared well but couldn't write up anything. Within a fraction of seconds I started to write things on my own words.. though I know the topics and just like that blabbered inside the topics. For that theory paper I got around 90+. Then only I started studying vigorously and secured around 70 to 80% in college studies. But due to the low marks in the 1st year it drastically reduced like anything(I mean the overall total). This is how the 2nd year went.
Coming into third year of college studies:
Since it is the final year of the college life, it went fabulous. We won't study that much and will be keep on roaming. The percentage of attendance din't even reduce 98%. Before the day of the exam, we will get a question paper and started preparing just for 1 hour and I got just 60 for that papers. The first comes the marketing subject. The lady as usual Lalitha. The unforgettable instance is: in the mid-semester I was failed in her subject just got 27 in her subject. I actually din't prepare anything for that subject since I was not feeling well at that time. So she asked me to stand out and do not enter my class in any cause. After a week I got the result for the 5th semester. For which I scored around 80+ in the university exams. She was very much exicted and allowed me to sit inside her and class and she punished me to take classes for the forth comming classes. I did it accordingly and she was happy and said me not to do anymore like this. And after that I din't fail in her subject too. While leaving the college.. she said one thing.. "don't be in a hurry to finish things.. but I never say going slow doesn't achieve any things at time, at the same time finishing things very slowly doesn't give the passion to complete things.. and finally finish off things slowly without any problems...". Wow I find this to be amazing and a good one too. Next as usual this Practical auditing ma'am named Savitha who just read the book(utter waste) but she boost the marks in papers whether communicating things in a proper way or not. Next comes Gayathri who took Insurance for me. If you ask me about Insurance I will surely say No to this answer.. because the way she teaches really damn horrible. She will never teach instead she will talk about the latest film and other things not even a subject related queries. Next comes the Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes. God damn! spend this one hour so fast that I will be very happy. This is how I pray daily. She makes us sleep by her way of teaching. When it comes to saturday I can go to hell. I takes class continuously from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Not even a single break. This is nothing but our Kirthika ma'am. Next comes the Cost and Management Accouting sir. He himself tells that he will maintain some principles. His priciples are below:
The student should never sleep at his class
There must be 100% attendance in his class.
No gal should suffer from sick.
No gal should go out of his class when he is taking classes including the Class Representative.
Oh God! What the hell is this? How can that be possible. He usually comes in a different range, moreover he is the Dean of the College(Ayo paavam pasanga! :D). We have named him as Dubbawallah. Because he is the one who introduced who are those and mainly death of Steve Irwin. These are unforgettable two topics and one topic which I never forgot is the Break Even Analysis and Budgeting the cost. He is very good at these two topics. These are teachers who took subjects and survived too.
This is the main part:
Since I was going for tuition for both Accounts and Tax I will be managed to get some marks atleast to pass the examination. But in exam hall I will be helping the people who are seated nearby. Especially Income Tax. One thing I have to surely mention is.. I love Income tax subject, but till now I remember all the provisions and will be guiding some of my juniors too.
